What is Prompt Engineering ?

Prompt engineering in a nutshell is a career that came about the back of the rise of Artificial Intelligence. It involves human writing, refining and optimizing prompts in a structured way. 

This is done with intention of perfecting the interaction between humans and AI to the highest degree possible. Apart from this a Prompt Engineer is required to continuously monitor those prompts and ensure their effectiveness with time as AI progresses. 

Field of prompt engineering requires to maintain an up to date prompt library, reporting on findings and to be a thought leader

Why we need Prompt Engineering ?

With quick and exponential growing rise of AI, even the architects of it themselves struggle to control it and its outputs. There can be different responses on basis of prompt feed. So it important to Linguistics. 

Linguistics is a study of language. It focuses on everything from phonetics,  the study of how speech sounds are produced and perceived. Phonology, the study of sound pattern and changes. Morphology- word structure, Syntax- sentence structure, Semantics- linguistic meaning, Pragmatics- context.
